Position Overview

Noble Garden Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary & Middle School Arabic Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The Arabic Teacher will provide engaging, structured, and developmentally appropriate instruction for students in Grades 1–7.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic educator who is fluent in Arabic, understands language acquisition, and can inspire students to develop strong communication skills and a deeper appreciation for the Arabic language and Islamic heritage.

The Arabic Teacher will work collaboratively with administration and faculty to develop a strong Arabic program aligned with Noble Garden Academy’s mission and educational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum & Instruction

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Arabic language lessons for elementary and middle school students.
  • Develop weekly lesson plans aligned with Noble Garden Academy’s curriculum goals and language learning objectives.
  • Teach Arabic skills including listening, speaking, reading, writing, vocabulary development, and grammar.
  • Create lessons that encourage communication, confidence, and practical language use.
  • Incorporate Arabic culture, Islamic traditions, and Qur’anic connections appropriately within instruction.
  • Use differentiated teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Classroom Environment & Student Support

  • Establish a positive, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Encourage students to develop a love and appreciation for the Arabic language.
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive and relationship-centered strategies.
  • Provide meaningful feedback to support student growth.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on student needs.

Assessment & Documentation

  • Develop assessments, assignments, and projects to measure student learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
  • Provide timely feedback on classwork, homework, tests, and assignments.
  • Communicate student progress and concerns with parents and administration.

Collaboration & School Community

  • Collaborate with teachers and administrators to support student success.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
  • Support Arabic-related activities, cultural celebrations, and school programs.
  • Maintain professional communication with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Model strong Islamic character, professionalism, and positive relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language, Arabic Literature, Education, Islamic Studies, or a related field preferred.
  • Native or near-native fluency in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA).
  • Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Previous experience teaching Arabic in a school or educational setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Arabic language instruction methods and curriculum development.
  • Ability to use educational technology tools such as Google Classroom and digital learning platforms.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to supporting the mission and values of an Islamic educational environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching Arabic to elementary and middle school students.
  • Experience with Arabic immersion, communicative language approaches, or differentiated instruction.
  • Familiarity with Qur’anic Arabic and Islamic terminology.
  • Experience working in an Islamic school environment.
