NGA Summer Camp 2026

Leaders of Noble Character

“The best among you are those who have the best manners and character.”
– Sahih al-Bukhari 6029

Our Summer Program for children is a thoughtfully designed experience focused on teaching Hadith and simple verses from the Qur’an, nurturing both the heart and mind through meaningful weekly themes. Each week centers around a carefully selected Hadith and Surah, guiding children to explore important values such as kindness, honesty, patience, gratitude, and respect.

Led by Sheikh Hatim Youssef, Ustadh Abdullah Ahmed, and Mrs. Sevim, our daily Islamic Studies classes are designed to inspire and foster a deep love for Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

Through engaging discussions, storytelling, group activities, and creative projects, campers connect these timeless teachings to their everyday lives. The program encourages reflection, builds strong moral character, and helps children develop a deeper understanding of prophetic guidance in a fun, interactive, and supportive environment.

By the end of the program, children will not only have learned a collection of beautiful Hadith and Qur’anic verses, but also how to live by them—growing into more compassionate, confident, and mindful individuals.

However, the learning doesn’t stop there. Our unique program blends Islamic studies with outdoor exploration, taking the classroom into local Fairfax County parks to discover the natural world. From identifying native plants to observing wildlife, students build a sense of appreciation and stewardship for the environment.

Campers also develop essential life skills through hands-on outdoor activities such as shelter building and basic survival skills. Through teamwork and intentional collaboration, they strengthen leadership, confidence, and resilience—all while practicing Leave No Trace principles and learning to respect and protect the environment as a divine gift.
